Audrey Cheng is the founder, former CEO (2014-2021) and current board member of Moringa School, a learning accelerator headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya that teaches skills like coding to African youth to increase their employability potential and launch their careers.

During her 7 years leading Moringa School, Audrey built and led a team of over 100 people to train over 4000 students in Kenya and Rwanda with an average 85% job placement rate, created strong partnerships with the likes of DOB Equity, DEG and Mastercard Foundation, launched 3 high-quality, proven courses and engaged with over 100 employers. Moringa was selected as one of Fast Company’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Africa and Financial Times and IFC’s “Finalist – Achievement in Sustainable Development, with a focus on Education, Knowledge and Skills”.

For her work, she was selected as one of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneurs and World Economic Forum’s Top Female Innovators in Africa. Moringa’s aim is to train over 200,000 knowledge workers through market-driven education by 2030.

In March 2021, Audrey decided to step back as CEO and move onto the board of Moringa to drive larger, systems-level change in human flourishing and support other entrepreneurs and companies to grow. She is currently a Selections Committee Member of I&P’s Education to Employment Fund, a three-year initiative which aims to support 30 education entrepreneurs in Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Senegal.

Betty is the Executive Director of Mount Kenya Academy an outstanding educational institution that consists of a Primary and secondary school and offers CBC, 8-4-4, and IGCSE curricula with over 600 pupils.

Betty is also the current CEO/ Founder of Digital Den Consultancy Ltd.

Betty previously served as the Chief Executive Officer for Jumia Kenya, (NYSE: JMIA) the leading E-commerce platform in Africa. She oversaw the 3 core businesses: e-commerce (Jumia), food delivery (Jumia Food) & fin-tech (JumiaPay). Jumia had more than 100,000 active sellers with 1.1B visits in 2021.

Prior to Jumia, Betty served as the Group Commercial Director at Britam Holdings Plc for 5 years. The Commercial Division was tasked with the distribution of General Insurance, Life, and Asset Management solutions through 3000 financial Advisors, 30 Branches, Bancassurance, and Digital and Direct Channels. Misan Rewane is the Executive Director of Stanford Impact Labs, which focuses on catalyzing partnerships between researchers and practitioners to meaningfully address social problems. Misan is an all-around social problem solver with 15 years’ advisory, entrepreneurial and funding experience in Africa, Europe and the US.

She started her career in management consulting at The Monitor Group, then gained exposure in public policy advisory, international development and social entrepreneurship.

Misan co-founded WAVE to level the economic playing field for Africa’s youth. Since inception, WAVE has trained 4K+ youth across Nigeria, transitioning them to entry-level work with a 2x income transformation ratio, and has powered 30+ partner organizations to train 50K+ youth in employability skills.

After stepping down as CEO of WAVE in 2019, she focused on advising disruptive social enterprises and funders. She currently sits on the boards of the African Visionary Fund, Kepler, Kepler College, Kibo School, Moringa School, and WAVE.

Setriakor is a transformational leader with a proven track record of building and deploying scalable solutions, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and working with talented engineers across the globe to deploy award-winning solutions for education and ed-tech startups and companies.

As Director of Technology at Moringa School, Setriakor designed and implemented a technology roadmap to facilitate the quick rollout of new products and the opening of new campuses across Africa. He integrated multiple learning management systems and application tracking systems into Sales Cloud (Salesforce) using proprietary information exchange protocols developed in-house.

During his time at African Leadership University (ALU) as Director of Sustained Engineering, Setriakor led a software engineering team to deliver solutions for learning and managing student information. He designed and deployed a plan for continuous integration for all in-house software solutions and deployed the Salesforce marketing cloud for customer engagement. Under his leadership, ALU was selected by Fast Company as the most innovative company in Africa in 2019.

Setriakor is also the founder and lead developer of Grey Parrot Interactive, where he has developed award-winning games, including the popular Oware3D mobile game. In addition to his professional pursuits, Setriakor is an avid FPV pilot and is passionate about all things aviation.
